Here we are again, yet another beautiful Sunday. Time does fly! Last Sunday, I wrote a post about my healthy orange smoothie and how I spent a lazy day indoors with tv shows and things like that. This Sunday I decided to do something different.
Today was beautiful weather, with blue sky, sun and 13 plus degrees celsius. Therefore, I decided to take a long walk to the places I have never been before. With other words – explore the city!
I have to tell you, it was so much fun. I discovered some pretty amazing places, where I could see part of panorama view of the city, also some smaller streets with old houses and really loud and beautiful waterfall. Also instead of smoothie I drank a bit too much delicious latte at my brothers place. No regrets!
I definitely recommend to explore the unknown streets, because it is the best way to find beautiful spots and places that should be visited by You! So let`s go!
Are you having active or quiet Sunday at home today? Mine is the second one, with tv shows and comfortable clothes and I decided to make something very delicious and healthy. Of course, I want to share it with you! Also bright orange colour is just a plus to add to this grey day. So here is my orange smoothie!
You will need: two carrots, two apples, glass of water, table spoon of honey and a blender. This will give you two full glasses of delicious smoothie.
Start by peeling the carrots and apples, cut them into cubes and firstly blend carrots with water. Then add the apples, honey and blend again. You are ready to treat yourself with this wonderful brightness in the glass! This smoothie is super easy to make and benefits you with important vitamins and minerals.
Carrots are very good source of vitamin A (beta-carotene) which is important for good vision and immune system, biotin -> important in fat and protein metabolism, vitamins K -> promote bone health, and B vitamins. Apples are good source of fiber and vitamin C. Especially if you use season apples from a near garder or farm (these apples tend to be more sour which is even better). Honey also contains many health benefits, which include fighting bacteria, energising our body and boosting our immune system. Cheers to good health and positive mood! ❤

Me and my guy, we were talking about going for our typical Sunday walk the day before. We have a tradition, to take walks together on Sundays, if he is not at work. So we headed out the door. We walked and enjoyed the city life, grabbed Chai Latte (because Sunday date without it, is not quite the same)… 😀 And then he suggested something unusual – to take a boat to one of the islands. How fun, I thought! So we took one of the ferries (we didn’t even look where the ferry was going) and headed for adventure!
Unexpected trips are the best, even those that take place very close by. It was so much fun to see where we arrived, to walk around and enjoy colourful autumn leaves and beautiful sunset. Therefore, If you had a quiet day at home this Sunday, I suggest you to take an adventurous tour around your city next Sunday! Enjoy Life!
Better late than never right? So, on Sunday, we finally managed to take our bicycles out for a ride! Why it took so long? Well, my tires were out of air and the pump didn’t fit my bicycle. Excuses, I know.
However, I am very happy that Sunday was the day! It took some effort to get those tires fixed, but when you really want something, you do everything to achieve it.
Such a good feeling when you feel the wind in your hair and sun on your face while you fly through the city. Oslo has some wonderful bicycle paths. We took one by the sea, that goes all the way to the island. The weather was beautiful and mood on top! It was quite hard to keep my eyes on the road, since the nature views were amazing, with the sea in the horizon and many many yachts in front.
Beautiful people, stay active, or start being more active. Walk when you can, take bike rides, take stairs, put on some medium loud music and simply dance at home! And you know what, you will feel much better. So, better late than never! 🙂 Choose to be active today!
